The cost may be presented in one of the following 4 currencies: NIS, US$, EURO, English Pounds. The display of the estimated cost in different currencies is provided solely for your convenience, with the conversion being made according to the last representative exchange rate published by the Bank of Israel and known at that time. Notwithstanding the above, it is hereby clarified that if you do not choose a specific currency the cost and actual payment will be made only in the currency automatically selected by the system in accordance with the User’s geographical location.

Consumer Protection Law

The reservation may be cancelled within 14 days of making the reservation and at least 2 working days before the pick-up date. In case of cancellation within the above timeframe, Eldan shall be entitled to charge you a cancellation fee in the amount of the lower of 5% of the rental cost or ₪100 , using the credit card provided by you during the reservation process.

This cancellation right is more favorable than the cancellation right granted in the Consumer Protection Law and therefore it will not apply to a reservation under this plan

מה הן שעות הפתיחה והסגירה של הסניפים?

The Ben Gurion Airport branch, located in Terminal 3, is available 7 days a week, from 07:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Rentals at the Eldan branch at Ben Gurion Airport are intended only for travelers to Israel who landed at the airport within the 24 hours preceding the rental of the vehicle and have an entry visa or a copy of the flight ticket indicating this. We recommend that customers who do not meet this criterion use our other rental branches.

Enterprise is the largest car rental company in the world. Eldan is the exclusive franchisee of Enterprise (and also of National and Alamo) for rentals booked from these companies to Israel since 2013.

At the end of an approved reservation, you will receive the reservation voucher by email. If the category you chose requires availability check, you will receive confirmation that the reservation has been received in the system and is undergoing a review process, at the end of which you will receive another update by email.

האם ניתן לשנות את מועד החזרת הרכב?

f the car has already been picked up and you want to extend the rental period, you can contact the Eldan branch where the car was rented. For a list of Eldan branches, click here.

Please note, you can extend the rental to 70 days by contacting the branch from which the car was taken by phone. For an extension beyond 70 days, you must physically go to the rental branch.

Returning a car at the airport involves an additional airport service fee.

Absolutely, you can return the car at any of Eldan&#39;s rental branches, according to the branch&#39;s operating hours.

האם ניתן להחזיר את הרכב בסניף שונה מסניף ההחזרה שבחרתי?

The minimum rental period is 24 hours, so a renter who rents the car for less than 24 hours will be charged in any case for a period of 24 hours. In addition, Eldan may, at its sole discretion, determine that a certain rental will be subject to a longer minimum rental period. It is worth remembering that picking up from the Eilat branch or returning to the Eilat branch which is different from the return branch or pickup) for a rental period of up to 2 days will be charged with transportation fees.

האם יש מינימום ימים בהם ניתן לשכור רכב?

It is not possible to drive an Eldan car outside the borders of the State of Israel, including the autonomy areas defined as Area A in the agreement signed between the State of Israel and the Palestinian Authority or other areas where driving is prohibited for Israelis according to the authorities' instructions.

Yes, VAT is charged by law from any Israeli citizen in any branch in the country, including Eilat.

האם יש תשלום מע"מ על השכרת רכב גם באילת?

A tourist who entered the country with a B2, B3, B4 tourist visa and presents it at the rental counter. The visa must be valid for the entire rental period.

If the agreement holder (tourist) adds an additional driver who is not a tourist, the agreement will not be charged VAT only if:

<ol>
	<li>This driver is a spouse (family relationship).</li>
	<li>The agreement holder (the tourist) is physically limited in driving and cannot drive independently, provided that they are in the vehicle on every trip with the additional driver.</li>
</ol>

Additional charge components such as fuel or toll roads will be charged VAT according to the law even if a B2, B3, B4 tourist visa is presented.

An Israeli customer is required to bring a valid driver&#39;s license and a credit card in the name of the car renter (present at the branch). A tourist customer is required to bring a new type of driver&#39;s license that complies with European regulations, valid for at least one year from entering Israel, a passport with an entry visa to Israel, and a credit card in the name of the renter (present at the branch).

There are several differences between the E-FREE, E-FLEX, and E-SAVE plans:

	<li>The E-SAVE plan offers the lowest price among the three plans. The reservation requires full prepayment, and cancellation of the reservation in this plan will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to three rental days.</li>
	<li>The E-FLEX plan offers a mid-range price among the three plans. The reservation requires only a deposit, and cancellation of the reservation in this plan will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to one rental day.</li>
	<li>The E-FREE plan offers the highest price among the three plans. This plan does not require any prepayment, and the payment will be collected at the rental counter. Cancellation of the reservation in this plan is free up to 24 hours before the car pickup time.</li>

Sometimes, for operational reasons, some car groups are offered only in the E-SAVE (full payment) or E-FLEX (deposit payment) plans.
