Accessibility Statement

General

Eldan sees the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law as an important milestone in enabling independent and self-sufficient living for people with disabilities in the country. As part of its organizational culture, Eldan strives to provide rights and services to people with disabilities while respecting their dignity, freedom, and privacy. Recognizing the importance of this issue, the company makes efforts to provide accessible services to all customers by making the necessary adjustments.

Accessibility

Eldan has about 30 service branches nationwide that address accessibility issues both in physical aspects (infrastructure) and in service accessibility. In terms of physical infrastructure, branches have ramps, handrails, low reception desks, adapted restrooms, marked parking spaces (where possible - see attached table), and more. We are currently working on adding appropriate directional signage and other necessary elements, as well as updating procedures to serve the organization in the long term. Regarding service accessibility, relevant representatives are being prepared. A training program is being developed based on the concept of accessible service as an organizational approach. The program will include content gathered from the service experience of a focus group and additional content. This content will be integrated into the company's procedures. The preparation in the physical infrastructure field, as well as customer service issues, will be integrated into a complete sequence where people with disabilities can receive our service comfortably and pleasantly without any categorical assumptions. The idea is that adapting the service environment will create the right interaction with the customer, an interaction that is built from the bottom up and is not the result of top-down directives. Training on this topic is provided to our representatives at the counter only, and every employee at Eldan, in various departments (vehicles, logistics, accounting, etc.), will undergo training on this core service provision topic. In parallel with the above treatment in the deployed system, the accessibility of the website and the call center is being addressed according to mandatory rules and schedules. Moreover, Eldan directs its efforts not only to external customers but also to internal employees. In this regard, Eldan already employs people with disabilities and is working to increase their number. Eldan provides accessible rental vehicles of various types, both vehicles accessible for driving by people with disabilities and transport vehicles for people with disabilities. Please note that by law, an accessible rental vehicle must be ordered at least 24 hours before the requested rental time.
