Eldan Transportation Ltd. and its affiliated companies (hereinafter collectively: "Eldan") are committed to protecting the privacy of their users (hereinafter: the "User/s") and/or their other customers. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter: the "Privacy Policy") was created to inform you about how we manage, collect, store, and use the information you provide us in connection with our website and in general (hereinafter: the "Site"). Eldan has a fleet of over 34,000 vehicles and operates more than 20 branches, offering its services in a wide range of fields such as car rental in Israel and abroad, operational leasing, private leasing, refrigerated vehicles, car sales, real estate, and tourism (hereinafter collectively: the "Services").

Information Collected

Please note that the scope of this Privacy Policy is limited solely to information collected by Eldan in the course of or in connection with your use of the Services. Some of this information may be collected automatically, and some may be collected when you browse the Site, perform actions within it, or engage in any other interaction with Eldan in any way. The type of information that may be collected automatically can include the date and time of your access to the Site, the IP address of the device through which you accessed the Site, the domain and host from which you accessed the internet, your browser software and operating system, and the specific activities you perform while visiting the Site.

Personal information that may be collected includes, among other things, your full name, ID card and/or passport details, driver's license number, date of birth, email address, phone number, browsing habits, membership in companies and organizations, pages viewed, and the location of the device used to access the Site (hereinafter collectively and separately: "Personal Information"). If you are a rental or leasing customer of the company, this Personal Information may include information about the location of the vehicle. Personal Information will only be collected if it is provided voluntarily by you, including but not limited to when filling out forms on the Site, making a reservation, updating and/or canceling reservations, contacting customer service, signing a rental agreement, etc. It is clarified that credit card details provided by you, whether on the Site or at the company's branches, will be transferred to the relevant clearing company for payment processing and will be stored by it in accordance with applicable standards and laws.

Use of Information

Generally, we use your information (including your Personal Information) to respond to your specific requests and to send you other details related to the Services you were interested in or that were provided to you. Eldan may use the aforementioned information for the following purposes:

Providing the relevant Services to the User;
Contacting the User to facilitate the provision of the Services;
Handling traffic and parking fines and toll road payments;
Providing customer service;
Improving the Site, Services, and materials therein;
Facilitating future reservations on the Site, including contacting Users if necessary;
Personalizing content and advertisements displayed to Users and conducting analytics and/or direct marketing activities;
Researching the use of the Site and/or the Services, including statistical analysis of sales;
Collecting data on the quantity and availability of the Services and examining the products sold;
Conducting satisfaction surveys via email or by contacting the User on their mobile phone or other number provided to Eldan;
Locating the vehicle when necessary;
Providing updates on promotions and sales, subject to your right to opt-out as described below; and/or
Responding to legal requirements (e.g., requests from law enforcement agencies) or any other legal matter, such as enforcing local policy rules, handling damage claims with third parties including insurance companies, responding to claims, or protecting the rights, property, or safety of others.

Legal Basis

The legal basis for collecting and using Personal Information is that it is necessary in connection with the purposes and for the provision of the relevant Services by Eldan under the relevant contract you have entered into or will enter into with Eldan. Failure to provide such Personal Information means that Eldan will not be able to provide you with the relevant Services.

The legal basis for sending you marketing communications regarding Eldan's Services is that you have given your explicit consent for your Personal Information to be used for this specific purpose.

If you have used Eldan's Services in the past, we have a legitimate business interest in matching the data we collect with other data previously collected to personalize the content we send you, making it more suitable and relevant to your needs.

Disclosure of Information and Data Transfer

Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we make reasonable efforts to ensure that we never intentionally transfer any part of your Personal Information, as an individual User, to any third party without your permission, except as provided in this policy or otherwise permitted or required by law. Tavuna Marketing, for conducting satisfaction surveys;
Bump-Yard, for contacting customers through various communication channels (email, WhatsApp, SMS, Messenger, chat, etc.) to facilitate the provision of the Services and to credit card companies for collecting payments for requested Services.

The company uses third-party tools on the Site, such as Google and Facebook products, for analyzing Site usage and for targeted advertising. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are used to analyze anonymous, statistical, and aggregated information about Site traffic and activity. These tools are also used by Eldan for advertising and remarketing on the Site and across the web (using AdWords), which may be tailored to your preferences based on your activity on the Site. Eldan also uses Google Display Network reporting and Analytics demographic and interest reporting. Additionally, Facebook Pixel is used for targeted advertising on social media networks. By using these tools on the Site, the companies providing the tools (Google and Facebook) use their cookies to identify your device and collect information such as your IP address, unique device identifiers, activity on the Site, and pages viewed. Additionally, Eldan may disclose Personal Information in connection with the purposes to service providers on its behalf in connection with the Site or in connection with the Services provided or to be provided to you, including companies providing vehicle location and tracking services, rescue and towing providers, garages, installers, etc.

If you use an electric or other vehicle that is used, among other things, through an application or other online systems, you are aware that as part of the use of the application or these systems, the vehicle importer or its representative collects information about you, which is regulated according to the vehicle importer's privacy policy that you are required to approve as part of downloading the application or using the online system. It is clarified that Eldan is not a party to the collection of information by the vehicle importer or its representative and is therefore not responsible for the manner in which the information is processed and collected by them. The customer is aware that Eldan may have access to the information contained in the application or online system and will use it only as described in this policy.

Eldan may also disclose your Personal Information to its business partners worldwide who offer or advertise our Services. These business partners may also include companies from the Enterprise group of companies or Rentalcars.com. When you make a reservation on one of our business partners' platforms, they will send Eldan some of the personal data you provided to them. Similarly, we may send our business partners some of the personal data related to your reservation.

Eldan may also disclose your Personal Information in any dispute, claim, demand, or legal proceeding, if any, between the User and Eldan or any other person on its behalf, or to enforce policies, respond to third-party claims, or protect the rights, property, or safety of third parties.

These third parties may be located in countries outside your country, and we may send them information we receive. These third parties may have access to your Personal Information only for the purposes of performing these tasks on our behalf and under similar obligations to those in this Privacy Policy. In such cases, these third parties must comply with our information security and privacy requirements and are not permitted to use the Personal Information they receive from us for any other purpose. When we transfer Personal Information, we use a variety of legal mechanisms, including contracts, to help ensure that your rights and protections travel with your data.
