Whenever we are asked what being Israeli means to us, our answer is pretty clear: it means turning an Ashkelon-based rental car company founded in the late sixties, with a fleet of four vehicles, to the leading rental car company in Israel with branches spanning from Dan to Eilat—all while continuing to pour our heart and soul into serving you.

The Eldan group, owned to this day by founder Yossef Dahan, is a “blue and white” success story. It has been more than a rental car company for quite some time, now it also offers services that accompany you all the way: selling cars (new, 0 km), private leasing, corporate operational leasing, car rental in Israel and abroad (via Rentalcars), road services, financing solutions for customers looking to buy a car, and even hotels in Jerusalem and Paris.

And we still haven’t got enough of it – we keep renewing ourselves:

• The Electric Revolution - Instead of stepping on the gas, you can simply plug in. Eldan offers electric vehicles, both private and commercial, for rent, sale, and leasing.
• Online Car Sales - Eldan is the first among Israel's rental and leasing companies to offer customers the ability to purchase a car without leaving home, without waiting in line, without meeting a sales representative, and without haggling. Eldan's wide range of vehicles for sale is displayed on the website, where you can choose the model, color, and upholstery, pay, and take delivery

Car rental in Israel

One out of three vehicles rented to tourists in Israel is owned by Eldan. Our rental fleet in Israel includes about 6,500 vehicles. Needless to say, there is great variety.

We also offer rental and/or operational leasing of refrigerated vehicles as a solution for refrigerated transport, suitable for refrigerated and frozen products.

Eldan’s logistics system spread all over the country allows us to provide professional and fast service to our customers anytime, anywhere.

Eldan Transportation Ltd. is the exclusive franchisee of Enterprise, Alamo, and National brands in Israel.

Founded in the USA in 1957, Enterprise is the world's largest car rental company.

 

Car rental abroad

Eldan also offers car rental abroad through the globally known website RentalCars.com.

 

Car selling – new vehicles

We have thousands of vehicles for sale that can be bought online from the Eldan website, or physically, in one of our 16 sales centers throughout the country. Whatever is comfortable for you is comfortable for us.

Buying from Eldan means knowing your vehicle has passed rigorous inspections and tests, receiving the full service history, and enjoying peace of mind – not satisfied? You can return it (excluding electric models and Mitsubishi Attrage).

Since 2022, Eldan also offers electric vehicles, both private and commercial, from a variety of electric vehicle manufacturers.

Car selling – zero-kilometer vehicles

In this business area, the company sells new vehicles ("zero kilometers") that were purchased from importers and have not yet been used for operational leasing or rental activities.

These vehicles are sold as "first-hand" cars, generally without any registration of rental and/or leasing in the 'original registration' field on the vehicle license.

Operational leasing

A winning combination of efficiency, to manage your company’s fleet, and a worthwhile benefit for your employees.

When it comes to service, Eldan sets a standard of the highest quality. A transaction manager will tailor a contract that suits your needs perfectly and will accompany you throughout the entire process. After that, we have a customer service that is available for you 24/7.

When opting for operational leasing, the customer benefits from a comprehensive service package that usually includes the following: provision of maintenance services, rescue and towing services, licensing, driver service, replacement vehicle, bridging vehicle, damage coverage, and insurance.

Operational leasing is mainly intended for businesses.

 

Private leasing

The easiest way to get a new and equipped car, without the hassle of buying, selling, or depreciation; with flexible processing fees and convenient monthly payments. Eldan will take care of the vehicle’s maintenance as well as the insurance coverage.

 

Funding

Our funding services are designed to make buying a vehicle easier for you.

Since January 23, 2022, Eldan has been cooperating with Direct Financing (Direct 2006 Group Ltd.) in order to establish a joint venture in which Eldan owns a 70% share and Direct Financing a 30% share. This initiative will deal, among other things, with providing loans to customers wanting to purchase a vehicle.

 

Hotels

The Eldan Hotel in Jerusalem boasts 76 rooms and is located in one of the most stunning areas of Jerusalem, where the Old city and the new quarter meet. The King David hotel can be found across the street.

The Hotel Verlain in Paris is a boutique hotel that boasts 38 rooms and overlooks the Avenue de la République, a trendy area of the French capital overflowed with hip bars and bustling restaurants.
